I know some html, and am trying to change a link in an asp page to another directory.

Can you please explain what this <%=smumpage%> means?

Is that defined in another part of the script possibly?

<a href="<%=smumpage%> ?action=register">Register

Thanks.

It's a variable (or constant),

do a search in whatever editor you use to locate the initialisation

Thank you.

Would I be looking for smumpage, %=smumpage% or <%=smumpage%>?
And is there a certain type of folder the "initialisation" may be in?

How will i know it's the "initialisation"?

Is the "initialisation" the place to change it?

Would I change smumpage, %=smumpage%, or <%=smumpage%> to change the <a href="<%=smumpage%> ?action=register">Register ?

Thanks again.

the initialisation

will be

dim smumpage
&
smumpage = "Some string of text"

It will be found in the current script or an included file.
