I'm looking to build a script in asp that automatically links to a page when any given word is added to my content (I guess I'm just lazy)

Lets say my site is about trees and I have loads of pages about trees - of course I have pages on oak, ash, elm etc now what I want to do is every time I upload a page with the word "ash" in an article a script make the word ash a live link to my ash page.

I'm thinking that a replace script would do this but would that work for double words and would it mess up words like splash etc.

or is there a better way to do this?

In amongst one of my libraries I have a function that did something very similar for a "glossary" set up. Used regular expressions to pick out complete words only, rather match the "ash" in "splash".

One day I will catalogue 10+ years of ASP programming

Can't be done with CSS at all, but it can be done with javascript as VibrantMedia do with the IntelliText ad system.
