Hi,

I really need your help on this one. I have a hosting account with godaddy. I have created forms in my website ( made in microsoft publisher) and need to link it to godaddy's gdform.asp. As per godaddy's instructions, I created the webpage put in the forms and even put "/gdform.asp" in the action line ( when you right click it is in form properties), but it does not work. Also, even after installing the front page extensions and putting in the email addreess in the form mailer which comes with the godaddy account, I don't really see a gdform.asp file in the root directory when I try to upload my published file thru FTP. Can someone pls give me a step by step way of linking this. Sorry, I am very new to web publishing so do not have much knowledge on this. Is there any alternate way?

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I really need to get this working. Thanks

Also you will need to login into godaddy, goto hosting- manage account -goto content.... form mail .. reinstall directories ( wait 15-20 minutes)
Tips here.. uses webmail here. Then forward the webmail to a free mail like hotmail, then use messaging program like msn messenger, or yahoo.

did you set up the gdform on godaddy? You have to do the setup to link it to the email address, and of course make sure that your page is in the same folder as the code.

if you are using Godaddy.com gdForm than you have to define receipient email address in form. Exmaple:

Quote:
<form action="gdform.asp">
<input type=hidden name=recepient value=info@doaminname.com />
</form>

Check on the FTP site as to whether you have the following loaded:
gdform.asp
gdform.php
webformmailer.php

Try including each of those in the form. Also remember to set the email address to which forms will be sent on the godaddy hosting account.

Webformmailer works the best - but may only be available if you are on Linux - worth checking.
