I'm still developing in classic ASP. I continue to develop websites and data intensive intranet/extranet applications and reuse a lot of code and functions developed and honed over the years. I do have plenty of books on ASP.NET and c#, but every time I pick them up and read them, I quickly tire and think "why reinvent the wheel". I see a lot of arguments for the ease of drag and drop controls in ASP.NET such as the datagrid, but if you make use of any of the excellent Javascript frameworks out there, most of these controls are redundant. I'll stick to using Classic ASP and continue to develop my Javascript skills, in particular using the JQuery framework, which I've found to be the most relevant web technology currently.
