Hi,

I was wondering if some one could help me on here. Basically, I cannot view pages written in ASP or PHP on the internet. My dads computer connects directly to the net, and mine through his via on board ethernet slots. All of a sudden, my pc refuses to download php or asp pages, and just times out. These pages will download on my dads pc but not mine.

Anyone have any ideas? I've done a full format and re installed windows and still have the same problems.

That sounds a bit odd. Are you sure it's just ASP and PHP pages you can't browse? Do other internet apps (instant messaging programs, etc) work? It's very unlikely that ASP and PHP scripts would just stop working from the client side, because other than the .asp or .php extention, they're completely transparent to the client...

Does your dad's PC have a proxy? Is it properly configured?
Check whether your dad's pc and yours have any spybots or not.
