How to block an IP from any country

I don't know about .asp or windows servers, but linux you can do it at the server level, or shared hosting can do it with .htaccess with a bit of entries into the file which could result in a large file. Search google for it I have found some really good tools that seem to know all countries ip ranges. Whether they are updated regularly I am not sure. But still it save a lot of time going through log files to find the culprit.

You need a list of IPs to block and compare it against request.servervariables("REMOTE_IP")
