Hi all,

thought i'd write a new post as the last didn't get a reply, I was concerned why i'm having difficulty setting up and running test ASP.net pages.

I'm getting the message

580 Server Error
This Web page could not be opened. A connection to the page could not be made. Please click the Reload or Refresh button to try again.

when looking for http://localhost

Any Ideas, It didn't always say this, i use to get a page that had info on it.. I'm getting desparate now.

With thanks
Phil

sorry for not having responded, i was busy. people can't seem to help you because there can be a gazillion reasons why the .net page isn't working.

just some...
>you do not have correct access privileges (OS user account)
>iis is not setup properly, .Net extension not included in default application pages
>.Net services are not enabled (disabled by default)
