Traffic on my servers capacity is a mere 2% so i have bags of capacity
Meanwile every week or so my site gets taken down with the HTTP error that it cant contact the ASP, at this point the main home page does not load and you get the HTTP error message. This is dam anoying as it costs money with lost traffic clicking on links that cant open my home page.
The server is not down just the website when i have this problem. Also, only last week i could view other pages when this happened just not the home page?
When i get the hosted server company to re-boot the system i go back up again, no problem then the same a week or so later. We now re-diary a regular re-boot which is a joke frankly.
Meanwhile im having the odd slow page opening problem now which could be un-related. My site holds about 100,000 pages of text.
The hosted server company think that i should dump Sun1 and either have the program changed to PHP or a windows based solution.
Any thoughts anyone or anyone with experience of Sun1 (ex-chilli soft) product and how good or bad it is when it comes to high active sites.
