At the moment I'm looking to get into ASP.NET after using a PHP for a couple of years now.

Could you lot recommend me some ASP sites, tutorials and other such stuff to get me going?

I think it's going to be a case of starting with the very basics as usual and build it up.

The other thing that I'm going to want is an ASP.NET host, so any recommendations and more importantly what I should look for from a host, ie MS SQL, would be appreciated.

Have you taken a look at www.asp.net? They got some really good tutorials, example, a forum, daily articles, everything you need. I worked from there and found it really usefull. Get yourself a copy of the .NET SDK. The help file is indespensible.
