I'm trying to extract anchor text from links with a regular expression pattern. The patterns I've tried do parse the links as long as they are not linked images or have other html inside the link, like <a href="..."><img...></a> and/or <a href="..."><b>link text</b></a>

Does anyone have or know a good reg exp pattern that will parse link text, but ignore any other html within the link? Like ignore "</>" within <a..> and </a>???
