I have just upgrade my computer from Window XP Home Edition to XP Professional so that i can test my ASP pages locally. My local host does not work. i try type it in the url: http://localhost/project/test.asp as well as just try to run microsoft localstart.asp it didn't run.

i went to Computer Management, click on Service and Application to check if my IIS is running; it does not matter whether i click on the IIS to expand the folder or double click on IIS, it freeze (nor maybe just thinking). i have uninstall, and reinstall and still the same result. the only way to close it is close the IIS program by doing CTRL+Alt+Delete and end the IIS on Window Task Manager.

Anybody have any suggestion as to what i should do?

thanks a bunch! :~)
