Hi all,

I am trying to count the length of the text in a asp.net textbox as the user types in the box. I have found a few JavaScript’s to do this but would prefer to stay away from JavaScript. Does anybody have any ideas how I can achieve this in asp.net?
I don't want the user to have to click out of the textbox to get the count. It should happen in real time as he types.

then you'll have to use javascript

ASP.NET is a server-side process you need a client-side process
