Hello. I have a members section of my site (newbrooklandlions.org). On this is a simple member table that lists the members name, email address, and Phone. This table queries a MS Access database for the info. If you are not listed, there is a form at the bottom of the page to fill out and it will post to the database/table.

If a user needs to change their data, right now they have to email me and I manually edit the database. Is there a way that I can let the user edit their own info? We only have one username/password for the member area. Security is not an issue (once they get in the member area). Thanks for any help.

Yup it's possible.

Currently, for viewing data, your code will most likely be executing an SQL SELECT statement, and for adding it will be using INSERT INTO. You will need to look up the syntax of the UPDATE statement and then implement it into your ASP code.

e.g.

UPDATE DetailsTable
SET Name = 'Minaki'
WHERE ID = 7
