Hello --

I am using Dreamweaver to create asp.net pages that link to a Microsoft Access database. I am trying to create a page where the user can edit information that he already submitted to the database on a previous visit. However, I have have run into a problem. When I create the page to edit the information, I have not been able to figure out how to preselect the item in the drop-down menu based on the value that exists in the Access database. Does anybody know if there is an extension that will do this for me? Or perhaps I am going about this the entirely wrong way. I do not write code but I have a feeling that this is done by javascript. Anyway...please help... thanks.

You need to slip in a selected="selected" attribute to the selected value. It would be helpfull if you couldpost your code... but this can be done simply with an if..then statement.
