Hello!

I would like to ask if this is the correct way to back up a database that is shared. I have a database that hosts a site and 2 forums, all with different prefixes. So I backed up the forums (phpbb2) from its control panel and then I backed up the whole database without the tables of the forums. Is this the correct way of backing up a shared databse? Would the new sql files work if I try to import them in 3 new databases?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
