Why might i be getting the below error????

the error comes from :

If CInt(SaleTypeID) > 1 Then
IsStaffSale = True
Else
IsStaffSale = False
End If

the SaleTypeID is beyond the cint range (-32767 to 32767)

response .write the value of the variable to see what it is.

Oh yeah great thanks. It was reading a date not a integer. silly really. lol
