I edited the database and that makes the dates appear correctly on the page.

So how do I get them to appear correctly in the database in the first place?

using the UK locale ID on every page where the date is handled will maintain the db consistency.

I've used the ID on every page even those that do not handle the date, and there's still no change. I emailed my hosting to see if they had done anything and they said the regional settings on the server were all set to UK and it looks like a scripting problem, but they can't help me with those sorts of things.

This is a real pain in the backside.

Could I email you the 3 pages where the date is handled so you could have a look for me please?
