I want to create a daily news weblog, where i will post about 10
articles daily. I want each article to have a registered talkback
where readers can comment on and hold discussions on the article.

I don't want a forum type blog, my site will have daily news articles, with a commenting (talkback) system by registered members at the bottom, where the messages should appear as links one after the other. The reader then clicks a link and the message open's perhaps in another window. This new window will contain the actual message, and will have "next message, reply, email writer" buttons, etc. etc.

The talkback messages, should show the name of the poster, the
country, time message was posted, and it should have an option to
email the writer of the post. The email however can be a "blind
email", ie. it does not display the email, only an email icon. The message should contain a link to the writers profile, which should a picture/ upload facility, and whatever else the member want's to put on their profile, kind of like on a yahoo profile.

I want my news weblog available to all surfers, but the talkback
section should allow posts only by registered members.

Will all this be possible by using Frontpage 2003 to create the
weblog, bearing in mind my requirements above? Or does anyone have another way i can do it? Maybe ASP scripts?

The discussion wizard in FP2003 is rather primitive, and it doesnt allow me to make registered users, i want something a bit more sophisticated. I have looked at other forum type scripts but didn't find anything i wanted.

I have looked at Snitz and Web Wiz forums, but i don't need a forum type application, i need something that can perhaps work as a content management system, log in for posting, a facility for blind emails for members, and a database to store messages. I have also looked at Articelive but it's php, and also their talkback feature is an unregistered one.

My site is on a windows server IIS6 with frontpage extensions, i use FP2003 as im not a programmer, it would have to be ASP. Anyone know of any scripts? I don't mind if they are not free, as i'm finding it vvery difficult to find what i want. My site admin have recomended that i would need ASPwritten script, database, and a CMS system.
