I'm in the trial part before launching a new version of locazolist classifieds (one of the scripts a friend and I made). Locazolist is an ASP/access based script that tries to mimic craigslist, you can check the craigslist website by going to http://www.craigslist.org .

So anyway I need some of you guys to browse around the site, check and make a couple of posts, flag, etc ... I'll appreciate a lot if you look for bugs, or give suggestions on how could I make this version even better . The URL is:

http://www.locazo.net:81/applications/listdemo

Thanks in advanced

It works fine for me. Search worked well, site loads fine. I do like the text tools when posting ads, and it has some neat features for contacting sellers. Good luck with the site; works very well.

I got that when I tried to screw up the classified post form on purpose. Not because I'm a jerk, but because other people will be. I was trying to head potential problems off at the pass.

Here's what I typed:

Post Title:

I'm intentionally trying to screw this post up.

Price:

$999.99

Location:

Over there. I'm pointing to it now. See it? Yeah, thought you did.

Post itself:

I'm trying to screw stuff up.

Yep, still trying.

Blah blah blah yadda yadda.

(I swore repeatedly here to try and figure out if there was a swear filter).

Email Address:

adam@testing.com

Not sure what specifically triggered it, but I'm going to try another test now.

Hmmm...no swear filter. You'll see the post in question with about 8 words in succession.

It also looks like your Specific Location field is the problem.

By the way, you might want to fix the tab order on that form. I don't like using the mouse and that form doesn't work quite right with the tab key.

Everything seems to be Craigs-esque other than that.

Site loaded quick and seemed to work fine.

A warning that ad will not be published until confirmed might be in order.

I tried to publish a test ad using a fake email and of course it will never appear.

PM also send.

Thanks, I forgot to validate lengh in some fields. I'm also working on the 'tab' issue ... and yeah ... no filters, but probably people would flag it as prohibited very quick.... or at least that's why I would hope

Thanks for the feedback

No problem, dude. And I sincerely hope for your sake that no one is as big an idiot by accident as I was on purpose.
