I have a linux / Apache / MySql server and am interested in the options to install and run .ASP scripts. I'm looking for testimonials of users who have actually done this.

there are two ASP projects that run on Apache or *nix

Sun Java Systems (used to be Chili!Soft) can use Jscript and VbScript but is not 100% compatible with MS code.

I guess what you are really asking is "can I run VbScript/JScript code on Apache"

ASP stands for Active Server Pages. it is NOT a language.

ASP is becoming outdated now-a-days. Even ASP.NET is bit old. ( Should I say, it has matured?)
Anything M$, runs best on M$. They don't think of other systems. So better go with a Windows server.
