It got bought out by Wal-Mart, along with decency and self-respect. You'll find all three next to crappy knockoff brand name jeans such as Leavis and Ranglur.
Anyway, as far as finding support for Linux vs. Windows I've found that it really depends on what you're doing. It's a ***** either way sometimes, but I can usually find what I want for the IIS environment.
If you're going to code in ASP, switch now. If you've spend a few hundred bucks (which implies at least $300) on 2 years of hosting, you could easily get a prorated refund and apply that toward a half-decent ASP plan (since $300/24 = $12.50/0.85--this factors in a 15% prepaid discount--=$14.71/month). An IIS plan is well within your budget at that point.
Any host worth their salt will give you a pro-rated refund. If they give you a hard time, threaten to post about your negative hosting experience on discussion boards. You'll have your $300 less what you used up so fast it'll make your head spin. So this way, you're really not spending any more.
Can't find any good NT hosts?
Here you go. Best host in the world, over here.. And I know for a fact that they support ASP because that's all I work with, and I've been with them over 4 years.
As far as server technologies go, most if not all are. Which ones are you using?
PHP? Supported.
Perl? Supported.
CGI? Supported.
If there are things that aren't supported (and I'm sure there are), do you really need them in the first place? One of the things a good Windows host will be able to offer you is a lot of ASP components that will cover the vast majority of your needs. The host above, for example, offers ASPUpload (kickass component for uploading, especially with the Progress Bar), ASPTear, and a few others I never got around to playing with before I got my dedicated box.
It doesn't look like your site really uses any of these types of things, other than the screen cap tool.
In other words, Minaki is bang on. Switch to an NT host. (Oh, and never prepay for hosting...you never know when you'll outgrow a host or a good one will go bad.)
