I need assisted in setup the dreamweaver database table connection. The program doesn't see my tables. You guess right, I am a beginner w/dreamweaver mx.

Need to know what kind of database you are connecting to?
Do you want to set up a dsn connection or dsn-less connection?

Also, are you working with a local or remote server?

I'M WORKING WITH ACCESS DSN CONNECTION ON A LOCAL SERVER. I CAN'T SEE MY TABLES IN DREAMWEAVER

It's really not nice to yell.

Go to you control panel >> administrative tools >> Data Sources (ODBC)

Click the System DSN tab >> Click the Add button >> Choose Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) >> Click Finish

Create a nane for the connection (ie Websitedb) >> Click the select button and locate your database

Go to the folder which houses your database and give IUSR_machinename Read/Write permissions >> do the same on the file itself

Go into Dreamweaver and create a new connection using local server dsn.
The DSN we just created should appear in the drop down.

I have the the same problem in creating db connection in DW.
I have tried to create DSN and I could see the connection form the dropdown in Dreamweaver BUT still i cant see the table from the DB in the connection.(Im also using ms access)
