I want to integrate forum in my upcoming site

i wanted to know whether ASP forum will work better or PHP Forum.

Please suggest Some Good source from where i can get best code (no problem if its paid one)

Well that will really depend on what your host supports.
It's a little pointless suggesting an ASP based forum if you can only run PHP and vice versa.

both will run adequately.

My personal opinion would be to go php. It would take a lot to discuss why, but I would start my research by looking at the php route...

We have tried to stated platform indendant, to avoid this delima in the future, try to configure your host to use either or so that you might have the best of both worlds.

there are lots of good forums are available in php.. but if you want to use asp forum then take a look at web wiz forum.. its free

For those of you still trying to decide which one is better.

phpbb is better security wise from what I have seen (comparing to the ASP free forum installations I have tried before). I also found that it was an easier install for the newbie trying to install a forum. I played around with the ASP forums that were free and you may want to keep in mind that some require that you enter/edit the strings and all before you actually upload to your forum directory. This could cause issues if you arent familiar with coding. Where as the phpbb, on the other hand, you can customize it from your browser as it prompts you for the required info.

Either way, good luck with whatever you try. Just make sure you read the directions before you jump in!
