Hi,

i have a wyswig editor ib my site. It stores all the data(text/images) in an access database. The trouble is i have a server.timeout on it and obviously when it times out i lose all the data.

Is there away of making it so it either:

1. Auto saves everything when the timeout happens?
2. Auto saves everything after say 5 mins?

2/ is possible with a javascript timer. But it would have to reset on each keypress or mouse movement otherwise it would submit at the end of the time period regardless.

I think he's talking about a script timeout.

Try this:

Server.ScriptTimeout = 180
(180 seconds = 3 minutes.)

If your script takes longer than that to execute, you've got a deeper issue with your script.
