I was wondering if anyone knew how to enable ASP in a directory. The server isnt mine and access to changing any settings on the server or looking settings up is very difficult.

I saw someone in our server that a few others are using .asp files - - So its enabled on our server, but when i try to access it I get an internal server error.

Can anyone help?

getting an internal server error could mean asp is enabled but the code you used has an error

In IE use;
Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> uncheck Show Friendly HTTP errors
So you can see the full error message.

that doesnt work the message is still there no matter what - It seems that no matter what type of .asp script I put on the server that message comes up - Even if its someone else script like a basic date and time program it will not work. Any ideas?

You should make a this directory a virtual directory inorder to run ASP. Please post the exact scenario with the help of proper messages or screenshots.
