So I'm trying to make a damned simple email form in flash 8, and no tutorial has the correct action script for it. I dont need to make a new asp database... I want to use the one from godaddy [my accnt]. Can anyone please lead me to a good tutorial...or if you know the actionscript for the button to send through asp, that would be great. Any help at this point would be fine, i'm about to go nuts....

Maybe he meant MS Access or MSSQL? BTW, why flash? I hate flash. It's slow, it's troublesome. Not all browsers support it, not everyone has it installed on their PC.

I don't think it would matter what backend database you're using to send email...

Flash is definitely not the way to go if you can avoid it. A lot of people just don't like it, or even don't have it installed ( like yellow says ). Not having Flash would block most of the ads on the 'net, and this web site as a side effect.

You should at least make an html form ( or an asp one ) for people who don't have Flash. And if you're going to do all that, does it make sense to have an email form in Flash?
