I didn't find one that I liked, so started writing my own

I also started writing my own, but gave it up because I had to learn WordPress anyway.

I doubt you'll find what you're after simply because most ASP scripts are coded like a dog's breakfast, and then the coders complain that it's the fault of ASP for not being scalable 6 months later.

Most of these types of web apps are in PHP. I suggest installing PHP on the server. If not just Google it. You'll find something.

Community Server is ASP.NET and allows blogging, along with everything else. But for the most part, open source web programming tends to be in PHP.
