Hey guys,

Can anyone reccomend some books that would do well for somebody whos just starting to get into ASP - Easy to read, not wordy and to the point?

I bought the weekend crash course book but found out too late that it is 4 years out of date!

Hi Cliff. Recently, i bought a book for databases, it contains an introduction for asp and its relation with SQL. "Database Design and Programming" for John Carter, Second Edition.

For beginners, ASP for dummies is pretty good, but after that you should try Beginning Active Server Pages from Wrox.

When I started learning ASP none of the books were much use, learning VBScript painful and finding my way around the object oriented functions was even more painful.

The VBScript reference was the most useful book I had, I think you can download it from the MicroSoft site.
