I am new to Bing.Is Bing search engine is good to get lot of traffic for a website? And how i can register my website in Bing? Share some experiences.

i m also new to bing but i think it will get lots of trafic as i think , but who know what will happen

Bing is the one of the most popular search engines next to Google and Yahoo.The method is same as in google just try to optimize your site using ON page and OFF page optimization. Update your site regularly with original content and get some quality backlinks.

Yeah bings fine for traffic & even advertising ( as it doesnt have quite as much niche competition )

as the above poster said, if you rank well for google, bing will follow suit.

Number of visitors may not be high on bing but conversion rate is certainly better.

Bing not gives as much traffic as compared to Google and Yahoo. Go to bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx and submit your site to bing.

Nice thread for bing. I liked the all views. I think Bing can also provide good traffic if we are in the top of Bing with two or three keywords.

Bing is also good but I prefer to use Google for the best result.

I just launched a website 1 week ago, it's an exact match domain with great content but 0 backlinks. But it's already top of page 2 in Bing and Yahoo, in Google it's on page 12. So I love Bing, they threw me a bone while I'm waiting to see Google results.

Maybe Bing and Yahoo give more weight to exact match domains....anyone else?

The answer is yes but I am more focus on getting more traffic on Google since it is more popular than Bing.

Launch a new site, it will be top in ALL search engines for a couple of weeks.
