I think
- the contrast is too big B/W
- italic fonts are harder to be red
- chat (again) is making to much contrast - B/W
- site should be more wide

Thats good
+ site is interesting, good pictures
+ variety
+ google integration

Toms top tip is to use real text for your title instead of a picture.
It's what people will be searching for in the SEs so it makes sense for the SEs to be able to read it - they can't read pictures. I'd probably keep the rest of the image as a background and put the text on top.
Or, if the typography is important to you, check out sIFR

Interesting, I'm now all of a sudden wanting to watch the IRON MAN Movie

I am into Dark Designs, so I like the deep pitch blackness of the theme. While it still seems a bit basic, I still give you a Thumbs Up! (Its coming along)
