What if I don't have time? What do I do then! I need more information for these conditionals! It's late, I'm dog tired, so I'll stop joking now...
First Impression
"It doesn't even fit in my window!" *turns off bookmarks*
Design
Yeah, if you want a page to fix the entire window, I invite you to explore the world of
percentages. You see, CSS lets you scale your site blocks with percents, (and you'll want a min-width) so your whole website will always show up, and some of us won't have to close our bookmarks side window. Very professional colors, but the logo needs some attention. (drop shadow? Is that how you intend to create your 3D effects!?) I would personally shorten the post block, just because it feels hugely vast (and vastly huge!) and makes me feel like I'm swimming in content. (not the good kind of swimming, but the "Open Water" kind.) They typography is pretty good. Mayhaps use icons for your bullets as well? The navigation is cool, but the page loads kind of slowly. The footer feels kind of cluttered as well, and I'm not feeling the gray. Perhaps use the same blue as up top?
Content
Okay, you're typography is throwing me off in the posts. There are no perma-links for your titles, and then the links to your reference articles are HUGE. (There's just no need for that.) Try linking the images you use, or just put in an anchor.
"Read more about your typography flaws here!" It's late, so I'm only going to read a couple of posts, sorry.
I actually really like your writing style. Sports bore me to death, but the way you write your posts is pretty interesting. I'm not seeing any major grammar issues at all and the sentence structure is well written. Nice job!
Would I Read It?
If it fit into my window, why not?
Overall
Please, PLEASE use percentages, or just shorten the width! Don't throw those resource links in our faces, either. Add some icon to your bullets, and tidy up your footer. Oh, and get a new logo. (If you really feel like nit-picking, the newsletter bar looks kind of ugly. Perhaps style the text, and even the button if you're an over-achiever.) Great job on content and overall design, though.
