Hi folks please take out a little time and review my social networking site Todleho.com. A lot of work has gone into its concept, design, content and everything else. It would be very nice you if you drop by my site and post a few comments and feedback which can further improve my site and open up new frontiers. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome, looking forward to your feedback.
I really don't want to sound harsh but your design is incredibly out-dated. And the blue is--well, ghastly is all I think of.
I think you should start looking at other social networking sites and begin a list of everything you like about them and everything you don't. I would also suggest looking at books on design. I don't mean web design I mean actual design fundamentals. Here's a couple of links to get you started thinking about design:
You should avoid huge flash graphics on the homepage, secondly, use advanced CSS to showcase your various "departments" in the rolling wheel. Use of darker blue shade will be more better. If you are using light-blue, follow the trend of Twitter.
Thanks for your feedback friends. Mime - I think you hate blue and your examples are to basic but thanks anyway. Guys FYI you are not keeping up with the latest news I guess. Google can index flash site including text and links according to a recent press release.

Yes they are basic. Of course they are. You need to know the basics, which you evidently don't. I'm not saying I'm a design "guru" because I'm learning myself, but I know bad design when I see it.
You're going to be turning most of your potential users away. But I guess you don't care as long as you have a bright blue spinning wheel in the middle of the homepage
LOL thanks for your insight Mime, you will be glad to know that I have already made some changes to the designs which you can check it out from my home page. Beside I am developing a stylish black-grey and white theme and I am **** sure it will blow you right away ;-)

It's not bad. I'm for simpler is better. There's a lot of mouseovers stuff that takes to long to load. The site didn't really capture my interest at all. I tried to navigate to the next page but it prompts me for a sign up. I'm cerainly not going to join a site that I don't like.
My advice is have some content available for non members so they can make a more educated decision about whether they want to sign up or not.
Hi Webspace, my site is an entertainment portal so around 70% of the content is public. May be you have clicked on some link that requires member privilege. Thanks for your feedback
