there is good information on the blog and i feel it is interesting
better to move the google ads to the right side column ranther than keeping them in the middle of the content
it is better to keep the main heading on top left because it wont get cut off in small screens.

$1400 in Adsense ?

Your doing good....

The Desi blog is clean I like the 2 column layout, not sold on the centering of the navigation. But thats just me.

Overall its clean and smooth. Nice work, wish you luck on making it to 2k on Adsense.

The ads kind of disturbing my reading but anyway it gives you a good income... what can i say... but i'm curious about the adsense income... a PR0 site with $1000+ per-month??? you must be kidding me..

thanks guys...yeah the ads may come between your reading; however, it does get your attention. That's my secret, I 4x my adsense income just by positioning the ads. I carefully tested how the reader sees the pages. I love the blog design. I recently made $1620+ for november from AdSense just by my positioning.

Can you guys suggest anything to improve it?

The loading of your blog is too slow.

Your site is informative but the ads is not in proper place. Its not good to see that the ads is place in every article that you post. You can just put the ad on lower right portion of you blog.

No the blog loads fast. No one else experienced the slow down. The site is design to be run with FireFox. I checked and it was the Sitemeter's image that slowed it down, I have changed the counter to CQCounter so, it should load fast.

I have cracked the $1000/month barrier just by placing the ads the way it shows on my blog.

Also, Icyblue, what's wrong with having different topics? Having differnt topics makes the blog interesting and it attracts various different readers. I like talking about different things, most of them are info and advice for American residents.

The ads are very distracting for me I personally will not look at the blog ever again unless asked for another review of it but if you're making that kind of money then I say leave them where they are one upset customer or even 1000 upset customers doesn't matter with that kind of income.... (this was not meant to be mean just giving you insite to what went threw my head when viewing others may have the same opinion)

but I do think regardless of if you decide to change the adsense you should make the right column more narrow it's far to wide IMO.

it's not like im over doing it with the ads...sites like businessweek.com have their ads wide as the width of the content column and obviously no one says anything. Tell me if the ads on the right or the left that is getting in the way on my blog?

the content i write are quality material and i don't think people will care as long as they can read quality content...
