I want to create some WordPress and/or Drupal themes and distribute them for free.
Obviously, photo imagery goes a long way towards making a good looking theme.
Usually I get stock photos from iStockPhoto but I dont know whether I have the legal right to redistribute those photos as part of a theme either for money OR for free.
So is there a repository of photos somewhere that are safe to use for such purpose?
I don't have the time or skill to go out and shoot all my own photos 
Is it OK to use Flicker Creative Commons images?
What about images of people? Do we require permission of the model IN ADDITION to permission by the photographer?
