Don't think about PR for now and keep on updating your blog frequently with some fresh, useful and unique content and try to increase traffic to your blog first.

promote your blog. . . build some link with it and it will get PR when PR update comes !!!

Do listed in Google you have to pull more traffic to your blog.

nope... it does takes time and dont focus much on getting PR...

I just posted this on another thread haha.. but pinging is the answer if you care about PR. Go to free ping services that ping blog listing services, then sign up on every service they list. Then all you have to do is use the ping service each time you update your blog. Instant traffic.
