I upgraded to fix a problem I seem to have introduced into my blog. I don't know how I did it, almost don't believe I did, but the timing makes me look pretty guilty.

Anyway, there's new support for tagging in addition to categorizing your posts, although I'm not sure yet what that does. The default toolbars are a little different; you can use headings without actually going into code. There are apparently a few seo features, like resolving a page from part of an address ... apparently people had been complaining about urls being cut off in email?

Yes, absolutely. All my blogs are running v2.3.1 now. Although the upgrade seems to have broken one of them.

No, not yet. I probably should though, just didn't see the need to be in a big rush to do it.

But also in another month or two they'll just upgrade to 2.4, then a lttle later 2.5, upgrades never end

I was lucky enough to start off with this version, i have moved over from blogger, and its really so much better, and it was easy to set up as well !

I agree, I keep putting it off thinking that Ill upgrade tomorrow...whenever that comes

I haven't upgraded to the new version yet. Yeah, they always make an update. I experience no problem with my version yet so I use this for the meantime.

Yup, when I updated my website I used 2.3.1. It's great, though I don't really notice any difference then any of the older versions. It just has a different name.

Yes.. have been taking the plunge and upgrading early on. Tagging helps your website browsers surf using a "tag cloud", among other things... and I like it.

If you need an automatic upgrade... there's a plugin for it. See overview article:

Yes, since i read that UTW plugin can not working with wordpress 2.3.1 i decide back to 2.2.3

Have you tried UTW on wp 2.3.1 please let me know the trick

Well, my cPanel Fantastico let me upgrade easily, it's always a pain to have to FTP it yourself... >.>

Yes, we upgraded and did it just for the link and tag features. Seems to be working great on two out of three, and the third has other issues. :-)

Upgraded to 2.3.2 on New Year's day. No problems. I also always do those that fix "security problems".
