I lost the hosting and didn't have a backup of everything. It went bye bye. There's a long story behind that, a friend was hosting this for me, but I've lost contact, and become distracted.
I really like blogging. I relaxes me, lets me express thoughts that might otherwise drive me mad. I like to partake in conversation with other blogs, advance ideas beyond what I could do alone. And even a broken clock is right twice a day, so when that happens I'm glad to share my opinion.
I want to set up John's Blog 2.0, but this time I want it on a Windows server, running ASP.NET 2 at least, if not 3. Does anybody have any advice on how I should make that happen?
Can anyone think of a good domain name for my new site that I'm dreaming of? I sold the other one ( I feel so dirty, but I only charged what I paid for it, to a friend) and I think over time my old blog shifted in direction. Most of my friends in real life are very smart, but don't know a thing about SEO. I assumed the same of my readers. But SEO is actually a fascinating topic, and I liked blogging about it sometimes. But with kid gloves, explaining things to people who might not know what html tags are. Instead of generalized knowledge but mostly politics and psychology, I want to write more about the online world.
