Hey everyone,

I am testing my Word Press blog now and I use WP-O-Matic tool to import feeds from other blogs to my website, but there is one legal issue - the feed you display on your website should contain at least 2 links of the original source blog you took it from. Is there some way (script or plugin) that can automatically add links of the source below the text (like I saw on some blogs: "read more on www.......com "), so I wouldn't have to do it all manually. I just don't want website owners to complain about stealing content from them.

I think there is more than one legal issue. If you do not have permission to republish anyone's feed on your site, then you are violating copyright law. A feed is for reading, not publishing -- unless permission is granted. Believe me, there are lawyers out there with tools that know how to find "feed scrapers."

In that case, you're better off not stealing content from them, instead of following a rumored rule about when it's OK to steal.

I had to add to the talkupation of the two posts above mine for speaking up. Considering that this "issue" has been big in the recent weeks in my "niche" I was too tired to bother replying and mentioning what the two posters above did.

Not since I went to a feed shortened to 33 characters. Things are fine now.
