Whether automated blog and spam blog is same thing

Yes they are. If a blog is automated there is no originality and thus the only reason it exists is to make money from useless content.

Good question. I agree that most "automated blogs" simple steal (and I do mean "steal" in the legal sense) other people's content and reproduce it... all in an attempt to profit the wrong way.

But did you know there is a new way to throw out a "blog" composed of posts from RSS feeds that you want to "share" with friends. Who's making this possible? Google. And they give you a public web page, complete with its own RSS feed to do it:

• My own "Shared Items" page
• FAQ about Google's Shared Items public pages

So... now you can have a sort of free blog, composed of content from other RSS feeds. What do you think of that?

If you are going to have an incoming RSS feed for your blog, I suggest writing original content as well. RSS is good for keeping your blog active, but it should not be your only form of information. Have a page dedicated to RSS, but keep most of your content original!

Why would you bother to do an automated blog? The content would be not that quality I guess if you do that...

i was tempted to use plr niche blogs last month, those sites that you just upload on your server and you get the instant content. so far, google hasn't indexed any of its page, and I don't think it will...
