If you don't want to offer RSS, use a website editor like front page or dreamweaver to publish your site instead.
It's a little silly to publish a blog and turn off the syndication features.

That said, having your RSS feeds syndicated indicates that people are interested in your content enough to publish it on another site.
If you are concerned about made-for-adsense sites scraping your content, then embed your affiliates links or other links within your blog.
Anyway, the first place that scrapers typically hit is wikipedia.
I'd be more concerned about generating traffic and income from your blog than having content "stolen"
