Ugly search-result bar

I've just installed a search widget on my blog that searches just my blog instead of the www like the navbar does. Anyway, when the search results comes up they're headed by an ugly search info bar telling you how many results were found matching your search word. This just doesn't look good with the rest of my blog's design and I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit the way it looks, or failing that hide it altogether?

depend of the plugin and how its coded ... if you want to hide it I would say just look at what the results page is called ... ie does it load a page called results.php ? failing that load the php file into dreamweaver (or open in notepad type program) and search for the phrase used on the results page and delete / edit the text when found ... feel free to PM me if you need any more help

Thank you, starlord. I'll have another good look through the template, but it seems as though the results-info bar is an internal blogger element that can't be accessed. The code I used for the search widget consists of about five lines of html and there's certainly nothing there to suggest the graphic is contained in this.

Thanks for the help.
