What is blogging to you? Is it primarily a means of income or primarily something more for fun? In other words, why do you blog?

I do it for fun and for the money (more on the money)

Since I'm not really making any money from my blog at this point, I'd have to say I do it for the fun of it. I enjoy relating my life experiences to others and possibly helping them out.

My blog has a lot of how-to articles and things like that, and I would love to continue to do that. We'll see how it goes though.

The best thing about my blog is the discussion that has developed. I'm averaging .5 comments/post (weird statistic right?) but I think it's a start, so I'm happy.

I like blogging for the fun of it, but making money is also fun. I use my blog more as a promotional tool to get writing gigs / advertising than anything else.

I have some discussion on my blog, but I do a lot of discussion behind the scenes as well.

I blog just for fun. And I don't do it very often

Mainly a way to share my ideas and thoughts.

Blogging is a bit of this and a bit of that for me.

It's an outlet for me to write, which is something I like to do. I can write about anything I want - just start a new blog and go! Blogging is also a nice way for me to communicate. One of my old blogs allowed me to feel right at home in freindly, welcoming community I'd never thought to join in the firt place.

It is also a means for me to make money... not much of it yet (just a little a month from Adsense), but maybe One Day™

I'd like to run a blog network in the future and have that as my primary revenue. Not all the sites would be in the blog format, just using the Wordpress Engine - I like how I can use dekstop publishing tools to post on my blog through Firefox or use a program like Ecto.

A way to get my thoughts out on the Internet for the rest of the world to read. Most of it is related to web development, but I guess some people are still interested in reading about it all.

Initially it was only to make money, but something happen.

Now I blog for profits and to share my hobbies with the world.

Blogging is the way to speak to evreyone in every places of the world. I like that.

I like blogging now... But it's really time consuming, I can't keep up to date and post everyday to all my blogs.

I'll be honest: blogging is a means of venting for me. It's nice to get stuff off my chest as well as share some information with others. I think it's very therapeutic and fun to do or I wouldn't be doing it at all.

Seems kinda redundant.

Anyway, I don't blog. I know that if I wrote a blog no one would read it anyway and it would be a waste fo time for myself. Also, they usually don't generate much revenue compared to regual websites.
