Most web hosts provide statistics, if they don't then I'd look at moving web hosts If you're looking for an online based statistic service, checkout the following;
Google Analytics
Performancing Metrics
I can't provide links to the above sites because this forum has a restriction of how many links you can post (utterly useless and inconvienant for us that DON'T spam) so you'll have to Google them.
Thanks Jamsi for your help!

I use htttp://www.sitemeter.com and I advise you to use it too.
It's very good, and I don't have to log in my Cpanel like that.
What is really cool is that you know from where your visitors are coming from, and what they do on yur blog, how many pages they visited, from where they leave your blog.
And... it's free.

RSS stands for really simple syndication, its a type of xml file that allows users to subscribe to your content and receive it via a feed reader. It is possible to have ads within your feed so it can generate revenue. It can also help you get readers rather than just traffic.
Most blog platforms will generate an rss feed for you, but they are dead easy to set up by hand as well.
I'm getting about 25,000 visitors/day coming to my main weblog and I have a few thousand RSS subscribers, but I'm more interested in *who* is reading my stuff than how many... and it's very cool to write about something then get BusinessWeek, CNN Money or even just Robert Scoble to write about it within just a few hours.
