It is now two weeks since I started running a blog in Wordpress. I am satisfied with the many customizable features. However, I have a small problem with image uploads. I want to display images on my blog posts but I still can't figure out how to go about it. Can you share your thoughts on this please? Thanks a bunch.

Since you are just starting, I assumed it was 2.0.x? Everytime you want to post, you can upload your image, click on it, select if you want to use thumbnail or otherwise and click "send to the editor" to have the code pasted into the editor.

You can edit, add width and height, or apply CSS classes if you want it aligned properly.

I upload th image into an image folder and then use the image button and type in the link.

Well, its **** simple. Just download Windows Live Writer (or any Blogware for that matter) and do it !!

The blogware will automatically upload your photos to your blog

@abraham: i don't understand what you mean by categories. To edit the code in the editor, you need to type in the code.
