Do all the blogs you own and read have RSS Feeds? A simple poll, that I need answering

Since most blog software supports feeds, most blogs do have them, and they are as vital of a part of blogging as writing itself.

I think every blog should have a feed. It's only polite to give your readers the choice.

Sorry TheWolf, I don't use wordpress so I can't help you. I write my feeds by hand. I really should do something about that...

Hi guys,

I would like to ask if any of you know how google sees constantly updated blogs on websites. I have an information and tips website but would love to add other peoples blogs to the catagories I have on my site but I am a little concerned that google will not see this as my niche content and remove me from their index

If it would help my site do any of you know good RSS feeds with blogs on various catagories

Mine all have feeds, but only because they are there automatically!

I dont think RSS is really suitable for end-users. I did some research about this - only 4% of internet users actually purposefully use RSS, and only 12% have actually heard of it!

I personally think its a hugely over-hyped load of crap. I admit that it is great for what it was designed for (i.e. site syndication), but as a tool for end users I think it really, really sucks.

I completely disagree with you there mattd. I love opening google reader to see what kind of things people have been writing about. Without it I would miss out on all sorts of interesting news and blog posts. I think it is a fantastic tool for end users.

RSS is a good option for your readers.
I use RSS from feedburner on my blog (pocketables.net)

You must be one of the 4% then!

But google reader is a bit mroe like what RSS was designed for - i.e. site syndication - and not a glorified email client. Has aspects of both obviously.
