I'm setting up a blog on how to make money online.
This is a rather new blog, so the number of posts is very few but i will update regularly in the future.

I realize many people are writing the similar things , so any suggestion for me on how to bring more traffic to my blog?

How can I improve the overall design of my blog?

Thank you very much.

People tend to read these "How I became a Millionaire" sites from people who are millionaires.

If you haven't already made yourself a millionaire (at least), then your site is not likely to become extremely popular.

Of course, I know a guy who sells "How I Made Millions in Real Estate" under a bunch of different names -- and he's never owned a piece of real estate in his life.

I know you are probably looking for suggestion on the design, but you should brush up on your grammar skills. Also, I'm sure you will get better at this as you go, but your articles do not evoke any emotion and are kind of boring to read. Most of your sentences are in simple form, which can contribute to the boringness of the reading.

i.e
Quote:
You may think that putting music video is cool and enhances your readers’ web experience. But, what you think might not be true. Some music videos play automatically without requiring any click. That means you provide no option to your readers whether want to listen to music or not. Why you want to force your readers to listen to certain music?
I pulled this from one of your articles. You could easily combine some of the sentence, consequently achieving two favorable results.

1. Better Readability
2. Less Text (more is only better if it's quality)

Note: Also you should avoid the use of the word "you". Write in generals, not directives, unless you are speaking directly to your reader, such as a question.

i.e you could say:

Some webmasters believe that just because they enjoy music videos on their site, their visitors will too. This is not always the case, as some of these features which are thought to enhance a visitor's web experience, simply turn out to be a nuisance to most. For example, some of these music videos play automatically without the permission of the visitor. Do you think that everyone who visits a certain website enjoys the exact same genre of music?

Okay, so we've got readability, but no way to evoke emotion. Your content needs some personality (especially in a blog) that your frequent readers will recognize and appreciate as solely yours.

For example, say you were writing an article on how the best methods to rid your PC of spyware. In a boring article you could say:

What is the best way to get rid of your spyware?
You need to find a good spyware program which can find all of the spyware on your PC and delete it.

In an article with some personality and emotion you could say:

How can you tell spyware to take it's job and shove it?
You need some kick-butt software that will have even the most malicious spyware cowering in the corner, praying for your program to spare its' life!

Now that example evokes emotion and with a consistent writing personality, your reader know what to expect from you, and will most likely appreciate your content and come back for more.

And why not monetize your article by linking to a well-known spyware remover software that has affiliate program.

I hope you will take this into consideration. Remember, practice makes perfect.

gl,
Bryan

My suggestion would be to go register pouringmoney dot com, it is available, I just checked. Download wordpress, find some cheap hosting, and import what you have already. I just find hosted blogs to be cheap in some way. Spend $10 and get started right.

I concur -- it's crazy to be building backlinks for a domain that you do not own!

Yeah I am telling you I would not read a blog about making money online of a dude who doesn't even own the domain or have a decent design.

Another thing, at least in my opinion, if your going to add graphics to your blog then make sure that they can be seen clearly or else it just kind of defeats the purpose. I mean I got the jist from them but they were kind of fuzzy, small and hard to see, I know the one was clickable but some people might not know that or be to lazy to bother clicking it. Just my 2 cents. I did learn how to set up a paypal donate button though!!!

OK, the advert at the top just looks out of place and needs to go. Its practically begging to be moved. If you really take a good look at your template, you will see what I mean. The banner just knocks the whole page down.

I dont know about you, but wouldn't it be nice to highlight the ads? what do you think? A nice light grey over the skyscraper will really draw the eye of your viewer, and consequently more clicks. ALso create a space between the ads and the "subscribe to my feed" bit, it will really create a more relaxed layout.

I like your post on PSA ads by google. Keep posting that kind of stuff, which is not so common, but important and I am sure you have a nice reader base soon.
Bookmarked your blog

Do consider the suggestions mentioned above as they will help you build credibility amongst your readers. A little branding will also be helpful in your case.
Bye

Obtain your own .com, customize a bit, and work hard on grammar.
