ok, i've never had a blog before but im thinking of keeping one, first, which is a good newbie software to use thats easy to understand and manage? second, i know i have to start something i can "blog" about, but what kind of things should i write? ex. games, like write what about games? how it affects me? information?

tips on this would be appreciated, i know i can go on other blogs and find out, but i think its better to get tips straight on than to figure out urself by looking lol

Regarding software I would you check up the WordPress site for more details. Regarding contents, you should stress on where you can contribute most. Consider hiring the services of a professional company which will be helpful for you.

about 20 wordpress and 1 blogger.com lol, ( i said 20 because i asked this on a few other forums lol, i like to get a wide range of opinions) i may try blogger since i got "a" referral for that lol, it'll take me a week or so to start the blog and another week to set everything up including a new domain for it, thanks for tips and comments guys

If you wish to have your own domain and stuff, WordPress is the way to go. If you want to "get your feet wet", Blogger is a good option. Or LiveJournal.

It might help to start with a Blogger, at least while you find your niche.

As for finding what to write about, find your interests, if you like knitting, write about that. It's just like building an "ordinary" website.

You can also start a personal blog, write about your life, your business, mitts you made while knitting

i dont mind getting my feet wet lol, but i also dont mind buying a domain for it, i dont really want a subdomain lol, i guess i'll have to try wordpress before doing anything see how it handles and see how easily i can manage it

Well domains can be had dirt cheap. Hosting is a little more expensive, but there are plenty of coupons floating around out there (coupons.sc plug) and plenty of low-costs hosts. Although I'm not a fan of their service, I did my first blogging for PENNIES with 1and1's hosting.
