As long as you can keep up with posting fresh, interesting, and relevant content, you can have as many blogs as you want. It seems like you're seeing a good amount of success with your current strategy so far. My question is this: after 70 blogs, how can you keep up the productivity that is required to run them all without killing yourself (figuratively of course)?

Are you making enough money from the blogs to justify hiring outside writers? I think that may be a good option at this point if you wish to extend your blogging empire any further than it already is. Otherwise, I feel like your content quality may drop and you'll start losing readers.

As long as you can handle all of them including blog update, posting and submission, the number doesn't matter anymore!

Too many is anything beyond what you can maintain and give the proper attention to. If you are not maintaining the same quality after adding another than it's too many even if it is two.

I think there is no specific number of blogs to have, as long as you can manage them and update them regularly.

it depends upon you that how many you can maintaine and i think that only 5 blogs are enough

Every blog that brings you leads or profits is one you should keep.

If it's too much for you to maintain, I'd suggest looking at hiring bloggers to maintain the others.

Analytics is key to getting a grip on your biz.
If the top 20% of your websites/blogs are bringing in the bulk of your profit (ie Pareto principle), I'd focus on them and drop the rest.

That might mean having 5 hours free each day to do goof-off stuff and sitting in front of your PC all day...

I guess it all depends on personal situation and how much time you can commit to it.
I have a 9-5 and a young family that I love to spend time with. That doesn’t leave me much time to blog and do other things online. One blog is hard enough for me to keep up with and I have four at the moment. 70 is CRAZY!! (in my opinion)

They all have PR between 4 and 6.so 70 your blogs have PR between 4 and 6.Fantastic!

Blogging can be very simple if you set it up correctly. I make around 15 blog posts a day and it doesn't take me more than an hour normally.

Most of my blog posts are centered around pictures or video and so I don't have to write much. Of the few lengthier blog posts I write a day I write about what I am passionate about and so find it very easy to do.

There is nothing worse in my opinion than having to write about something that you have absolutely no interest in.

I don't know how you manage 70 blogs. That sounds like a few too many in my opinion, but whatever works for you.

I have three blogs now and not easy to maintain or update daily. I do wonder with people having more than 5 blogs. It is true that if someone has a lot to say about things, they can write often but 70 blogs? The maximum so far I have heard is 150 blogs. Beats me how they do it even if it is just to post a photo on each one...

As long as you are regularly posting to each blog there isn't a number that is too many. If you don't post on each blog regularly I would weed out the ones that you don't enjoy writing on. 70 blogs is a lot to keep up with.

In my opinion it is not the number but the quality of the blog. Quality in the sense content, traffic and money earning out of it. I think any thing more than three blogs is too many to handle and update regularly.

There is no limitation of Blogs and Blog Posting.
You can create as many as u can. It depends upon u afterall, how much blog post u wanna make. But there is no limit to it. So, just go 4 it....

just be sure that you could maintain that 70 of them..

I don't think anyone here understood what the OP meant. He is not managing those blogs and is not asking about that. He is commenting on those blogs.

70 blogs :O . That is really something . Do you duplicate work among them or have unique content among all of them ?.
