you can only IF you have enough daily time to nurture every single of it. make it possible by hiring other people for each subdomain/ folder..

I've had a blog about a month now. I post daily with content I think is of high quality and useful to other people. So far this month I have made $12 off of adsense and $0 off affiliate programs.

I think it is important to build a foundation and develop a good relationship with your reader even if it is one by one. I can't speak from experience, but I'm thinking that after a year or two of doing that and also writing some well written articles submitted to other sites, you can eventually earn some money.

Not get rich, but definitely make some money. That's not why I got into blogging though...

I decided to move my Blog to wordpress on its own domain. It took me a long and difficult time to figure out how to use it, but hopefully its not bad:

I am still trying to figure out alot of things in Wordpress. Seems like you have to do alot of things in the code just to make a few plugins work, hopefully I'll get used to it.

wordpress is better imho but really if you have a good blog that is set out well and you post good content at least on a daily basis your gunna make money, u can use :-

adsense, affiliate ebooks, sell ad space, links to survey sites etc etc they are all good ways to make money from high traffic blogs.....hope this helps.

One of the easiet way of making money through blogging is adsense.

How to start?

Look for high priced profitable keywords, build your blog around that keyword, post articles to it from ezine articles.com or other article directories, then subscribe to google.com news via google.com/alert, with this google will be sending you more informations concerning the topic of your blog, with this informations, you will find it easy updating your blog regularly with the free news from google.

then after everything, subscribe to adsense and start marketing your blog.

using two methods has really done wonders for me.

1) have a blog at blogspot and post highly sensitive keywords articles each day....yes each day!

2) use wordpress and have it install to your website directory i.e. http://your-website.com/blog and post like a madman, but make sure you give great content...that will get you some traffic and fans like never before.....

get blogging to the bank....i know that its pretty basic, but as you said your not really a guru at this and blogging to the bank will get you started and give you alot of good tips on how to get your blog indexed into googel and msn withing 24 - 48 hours with good search terms....i.e. there is a little trick with this that will bring in massive traffic for you.

Making money from a blog is not that hard. Infact it's quite simple, all you need is to advertise your blog, get some good quality traffic and then put ads on your blog and also build the PR of it plus you can also write blog posts for money.

When I say it's not that hard to make money from them, there is still much more people that don't make money from them compared to people that do make money from them. The reasons for this is because some people set up blog after blog thinking that they can make more money, people don't know how to advertise it or people just use duplicate articles on their blogs which will then downgrade that blog within the search engines.

If you focus all your energy on 1 or 2 blogs at the most, you can interact with your visitors more, monetize your blog more and also work on increasing it's traffic and PR more. If you have 10+ blogs, then you will have much less time to work on them 2 blogs, which will only show to your visitors which you don't want to happen.

Make sure you get involved in the conversation, otherwise theres no point in being a blogger

Yes I agree with you. Your job is getting active on your topics in internet society. Be active too.

Yup, you can make money doing it but dont let money be your main motivator.
Drop by my blog. you may get one or two ides to make money with yours.

Money should never be the main motivation when setting up your blog. Your readers should always come first and content is always king. You can't beat that rule. Really really.=)
