I noticed a curious thing recently. Every time I post a new article to ezinearticles.com, someone creates a new blogger site with the title of my article and then posts my article on that blog.

I usually see them in my wordpress dashboard.

Why would someone do such a thing? At first I thought it was to attack my PR. Weird...

are they adding the back link ?

How long does it take for the blogger site to appear? Does it seem automated??

It does appear automated, but at least the backlinks are there.

Sounds like a standard scraper site. Just an automated script that scrapes the ezine site and then generates a blogger blog. That's pretty standard procedure. If they're good they'll have some tools to get the blog a few automated backlinks and it should rank rather well. This is going to be basic blackhat backlink building. Although with no links it'll still get indexed most likely if they pinged after the post. They'll probably come back later on and add links to other sites once anyone has forgotten about it.

They are likely using your RSS feed. Be sure to limit it to summary only.

Is this some kind of new marketing technique that people using? As long as they included a link back to your article, I think it is ok for them to use it. By the way, the purpose you submit article to ezinearticles.com is marketing. So it is nice if some one use your article.
